This is a five-day course which gives participants a good understanding of tools and techniques, the five core PM processes and the nine PM knowledge areas as described in the PMBOK. This course will prepare candidates to sit for the PMP examination.

Program and Portfolio Management

This two-day workshop will discuss proven best practices employed by global companies for managing project portfolio. The Project Management Institute’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3) will be introduced. Case studies and group discussion will help illustrate how to apply these best practices to IT organizations to achieve better ROI for their investments.

Outsourcing and Vendor Management

This is an intermediate course providing participants with the key skills for successful outsourcing and vendor management. The ability to manage vendors and third-party suppliers is essential for every manager nowadays. It is important to excel in every aspect of a vendor management cycle starting from make-or-buy / insource-or-outsource decision, vendor identification and selection, service transition, to managing the vendor over the life of a contract. This course covers different skills required during the various phases of a procurement cycle.
